In the title, Kashitaro is the Shinsengumi’s military advisor and assumes the role of third in command. For longtime fans of the series, he’s based on Daisaku Kuze from Yakuza 0 – albeit with a bun.

The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows 10 on February 21. Those who pre-order the title digitally can pick up three bonus weapons and four days Early Access to the title, making it available on February 17 instead.
