The Callisto Protocol could have underperformed
According to MK-Odyssey, The Callisto Protocol underperformed. The game was released in December to mixed reviews, with most reviewers pointing out that the game was too short for its price. It was developed by Striking Distance Studios, led by Glen Schofield, a developer who worked on both Call of Duty and dead space. Apparently Krafton, the publisher of The Callisto Protocolexpected the game to sell 5 million copies and it will only reach 2 million copies sold this year.
There have also been reports of crunch coming from Striking Distance Studios, although the crunch probably had nothing to do with poor sales or mixed reviews, as most of the criticism was about the game’s design. reported that the people who worked on the game weren’t credited in the game’s official credits, but again, that probably had nothing to do with poor sales.
The soundtrack for The Simpsons: Hit & Run is now streaming
You can now stream the classic video game soundtrack The Simpsons: Hit & Run on Spotify and Apple Music. The game was released in 2003 and is by far the most requested remake of all The simpsons’ Games. What is interesting in this news is that The Simpsons: Hit & Run is the only game soundtrack coming to streaming. Disney might release the soundtracks one at a time, after all, the series soundtracks are already available.
You can already stream classics like “We Do (The Stonecutters’ Song)” and “Mr. Plow,” but you can’t stream the soundtrack for The Simpsons game or The Simpsons: Road Rage. We won’t say this lends credence to the idea that Disney is testing the waters for a remake or remaster, as a soundtrack release wouldn’t normally suggest that. Instead, it could be to celebrate the 20th anniversary which is approaching in September. However, that probably won’t stop fans from requesting a remake or creating their own.
